>From Sunday's Letters to the Editor, reader Scott notices what the Editor doesn't....but then he (Scott) actually reads the letters:
"'Fatal accident causes one to give thanks' is a perverse enough headline to begin with, but then you read the letter. To the best of my reading ability, I can find no one who died in the accident."But at least we are getting Laurels and Darts without the mean streak.

"Also, the letter under 'Press biased toward pro-America support' seems to be making the opposite point. Perhaps this is all cleverly designed to allow students to check the newspaper for errors. This is suggested by the 10th letter, but that writer takes a shot at Mr. Ott's writing and so cannot be taken seriously."
