So let us review what Rush Limbaugh said.
"[McNabb] is overrated ... what we have here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback can do well—black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well."Limbaugh was then pilloried for introducing race into the subject of quarterbacks and suggesting that the media were giving a boost to a black quarterback.
Do this test, look at the results, and then decide for yourself.
To see what Google returns with the search term "First White Quarterback" click here.

Quite a differnce, huh?
Now is this wrong on the media's part to introduce race into sports. No.
So why is it wrong for Mr. Limbaugh to point out the fact that they do?
Note: If you strip off the word "first" from each search term leaving just "white quarterback" or "black quarterback" the results seem to even out......as far as the first friggin' twenty or so pages of results. But this just further show that the media is, in fact, constantly introducing race into the subject of quarterbacks.
