There is no reason ,whatsoever, that you must apologise for ANYTHING Theocritus ! You have posted your thoughts in a witty and intellectual way that has driven many to their dictionaries and has given this blog a fresh and exciting new look ! For this I applaud you, and dammit you deserve it! For the last few months you have given us many problems to think over and share..and for this I say thanks. I have donated to the cause a minuscule amount of money , because I felt it was better used here then the city council..however SOME feel that because of your wit they are "outclassed " and therefore do not post! YES, THIS IS AN ASSUMPTION..BUT WHAT ELSE AM I TO THINK ! If the owners of this blog will not post, let us plebes have our say..Would it hurt your egos that much ! Allow the likes of Cassandra ,Bleu , Blinded By Science , and others to open a thread. Surely all of you do not agree on everything , so what have you to lose ?? I bring this to to your attention as I feel you have lost the urge to write, and this has been a wonderful blog ! What will it take to bring you back to your general feeling of "mean spiritness", MANY are allowed to contribute to JW but few find the time to face the keyboard anymore. Please understand that my complaint lies NOT with the contributers of this fine blog , but with the "BLAH" attitude many of the "authorized" contributors take..Obviously Theo is Excluded! I HATE TO SEE A GOOD BLOG DIE..YOU HAVE TO FEED it ,YOU KNOW ! Good or bad, I have decided to spend my time here . I can only hope someone will convince the people who run JW to pay more attention to their readers and less to their own thoughts or...someone comes in and kicks serious butt ! ( Get your vacation schedules together..huh) In other words..YOUR words are worth something , so If you can..POST !

Thank you; very kind. There is a way to go and I suspect that a certain doctor will stick a knife, very carefully, in my leg to lance an abscess, but the systemic infection is gone I think. I've had them and recognize the now-absent whole-body ache. Been there, done that. Twice. Worse. This will be a cakewalk.

But the quandary is that every time a nurse gave me a shot in my ass I saw a repressed grin, and at my advanced age, I cannot flatter myself to think that I'm callipygian.

But even if the good doctor needs to use a motorized surgical tool, its sound would be better than that of some of the industrial-strength whiners who present themselves to me, having ignored advice not to get into that pickle, and now that they have, they want me to get them out. It's beyond help most times, and I do not laugh. Until they're out the door.

But that's a thoughtcrime, isn't it?
