For Those Considering a Blog.....
News items like this are a great thing to immediately post on your blog:
The Midland Development Corporation will present their annual development plan for Council approval. The plan will suggest targets for the 2007/08-year as well as highlight past successes. Media Contact: Jim Nelson/MDC President 571.4202
Though, I guess we will have to wait for the MRT to publish the MDC's / City's own press-release before it makes it on the MDC site.
As far as posting the Draft Annual Development Plan or the Approved Development Plan... well at least they have posted the 2006-2007 Annual Report (so, there is some progress).
Though, they might need to update the Property Directory, it is from 2005 and on page 31, the Heritage Building is listed as available....might want to check with the County on that.

I have seen the Annual Report and the Development Plan. About all I see changing from doing nothing is to try to recruit doctors to the area. That'll get the economy flowing..

just as i thought. its easy to criticize. no none is interested in actually making a difference. if you are interested fill out an application with the city or call me. it would be good to have input from the posters on jw.

Thirty whole hours. On a weekend.
Timestamps are a bitch, aren't they?

As one who has participated in public meetings for the downtown action plan and has submitted "official" written public comments for the Downtown Action Plan and Parks Plan.....I would be careful in saying JW contributors are "not making a diference."
I've been in the basement conference rooms in City Hall many, many times.......

There's a terrific amount of kwnleodge in this article!
