As the new kid on the block, I must say the last 1-3/4 years writing for the "Well" has been fun, funny, and full of funny cheap stunts pulled on the local media.

Thanks to our wonderful Site Admin for creating such a provocative place, and for the likes of Walsingham, Vaughan, Shepherd, and Theocritus for adding to the local blogitty goodness that is the "Well." It is fun to be a part of it, it is fun to be a WellHead.

It is my heartiest and most earnest congratulations I send to the S.A. and ALL those who contribute and post for "Six (6) Six" years of uncivility and name-calling and general crankiness and Agin'ness which has resulted in making JW a VERY necessary read for the politicos of the Permian Basin .

During this last election , it is my feeling , that those who posted created (in the least) an atmosphere for those running for office an attitude of "looking over their shoulder" and realizing that there ARE those who will REMEMBER the words they said to get the job .

The fact that I haven't been kicked outta here during the last two years shows the ultimate restraint of the members of JW for their tolerance of the weak minded and long winded .
