A "Local Website" and a "Local Blog"
In the comments section of this post it is observed that Craig Anderson devoted a good portion of his morning radio show to the costs associated with the operation of the Midland Horseshoe...a story broken here on Jessica's Well...but that he never would go so far as to mention us by name, rather he would merely refer to "a local website."
So how does one go about the problem of being referred to only as "a local website" or "a local blog" instead of by our proper name?
Simple. You can't change what they call you, but you can make them correct in what they are saying.

Awesome... great work. Sometimes those domains are sooooo worth it. This is the perfect example.
There are conservatives who would not want to give free publicity to a radical right wing blog.
Maybe you should have linked them to Joe Smith's Blog?
Five bucks says that what 'Anonymous' calls a non-radical right wing blog the rest of the world calls...well...a left wing blog.
Maybe they've read Jessica's Well and realized that the site's owner likes to use bad language, personal attacks, and childish retorts under several different aliases. They wouldn't want to direct their listeners to a website that would be full of off-color remarks and thinly-veiled hatred. Ospurt-Theocritus-Walsingham-Old Otto, etc. are all the same person and "they" write exactly the same way.

I have just one question for the current Anonymous. Do you type "Anonymous" into the name field to leave us a clever name or leave it blank as I just did?
I doubt I'm Walsingham. I actually voted for the Sports Complex and the ED tax, once, and happily admit it.
I also doubt I'm Theocritus, I sold my computing soul to Gates, not Jobs.
If Site Admin is all these bloggers...I am impressed. To do the research of Ospurt, produce the philosophical musings of Theo, have the common sense of Old Otto and the wit of Walser all in one person...wow.
Speaking of those skulking around under false colors, I have $10.00 that says Anonymous is A&M Grad. Remember him? He would fly into a tantrum if anyone dared to disagree with, or ask for clarification of, his pronouncements.
In the case of "Anonymous" of 9:58am, the comment eminates from the same IP address as those of Pandora...of the "dog ate my browser cache" fame.
I thought Pandora had more sense than that. Not saying she has much, but seriously, the contributors and most of those leaving comments here have distinct styles, personalities, concerns, and histories that can be found in the link to the right just below the picture of Tony Snow. Educate yourself.
