An amazing story. I was totally floored at the obvious stupidity of the selection, yet we know there will be no change in moderator. I think Palin should open with a statement on the bias of the media including disclosure of Ms. Ifill's future income plans.

I fully agree (in my heart) with your suggestion ,Shepherd ,but
it would end in disaster as Sarah would be accused of playing the "RACE" card by accusing two "Blacks" of being in collusion , or in some way a symbiotic relationship .

Making it worse would be the fact that those of Celt-Germanic-Norse heritage are not allowed to be dealt a "RACE" card.

As we've noticed, the beneficiaries of preferential treatment always wind up being its victims, in the end, if they do not kill off the others. Ifill's obvious bias has gotten this far because she's not been held to account because of her color. So she has to count on her color to help her, meaning that her mind, and she is by no means an idiot, isn't needed as much as it would be if she were of any other race.

I don't know if it will happen, but if this house of liberal cards falls, we'll be treated to the spectacle of privileged people without the skills to defend themselves, because they never had to develop them.

That was an extraordinarily racially charged comment! Wow! Palin isn't debating Obama, anyway. It's going to be Biden.

I think that if Ifill starts trying to kiss Obama's ass during the debate that it will actually help Palin, because it will piss the audience off.

If Palin can't take advantage of having Biden (an incredibly unpopular person to supporters of BOTH parties) and a black woman who's known to have written a book glorifying Obama on the stage with her, then she isn't much of a debater.

The horrendous Couric interview also plays to her side, because the lib media has been out there crowing about how dumb she is. If she comes off as even remotely articulate, she will have exceeded expectations by a mile.

I though Ifill did a great job at moderating, her best actually. I expected she would due to the attention this disclosure received.
