Senator Joe
"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy," said Biden to a roomful of donors. "The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America."
"Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said," Biden continued. "Watch, we're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
"I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's going happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate."
This is no doubt true--the pennyweight bullies of the world never waste a chance to see what they can get away with, and some of the bigger ones would jump in too. And we have the Chosen One who wants to sit down and talk to the most repugnant leaders, or dictators, on earth, without preconditions. Or even talk to them at all without unilaterally foretelling their future, which is the obligation of the civilized when talking to thugs.
Is this Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment? Are we going to have, in the squared circle, the Chosen One and Ahmadinejad? Joe the Biden tells us that fireworks are coming. Is this a playbill that we should welcome? Armageddon? It fits in with the messianic nature of this entire campaign. Is this just the blather of a man addicted to the sound of his voice? Or is it in vino veritas?
Biden has a history of hectoring the audience, "I believe that I'm smarter than you are," which no person secure in his intelligence would ever say, and he has the most unpleasant, and self-engorging, habit of quoting letters from professors declaiming his intellectual worth, although frankly by his age he ought to have gotten over recommendations from professors, who are, after all, professors. He ought to be past that need.
His history is, as we all know, one of plagiarism. Everyone recycles others' materials--how much new research is there in the world? But decent people at least make a synthesis of others' viewpoints hoping to bring at least a bit of something new to it. (This does not apply to the MSM's inbred decadence.) In law school he was given an F on a paper of which one third of the pages were plagiarized. This is a crime of sterile and the shallow. And the cheap. And the stupid.
I've listened to Biden on a lot of videos. I think that the best explanation is that he's a good drunk. The glassy eyes in some of them, the emotion, the buffer underrun, as one would say in EE circles, when his words outrun the script in his mind, the rigidity of coping... Occam's Razor.
Another video of Senator Joe which amused me:
And yet another:
Oh. Why am I going on so? The MSM is rolling up its sleeves to calumniate anyone who dares to question the right of their candidate: in other words, they're repressing dissent, which is the first sign of fascism. I predict that to "bork" we shall add "Joe Plumber." Of course Biden's false statements, gaffes, self-centeredness, self-aggrandizement, and if you listen to the speech of him introducing Michelle Obama, love for adult beverages when he ought not touch them, are nothing compared to a woman who said that creationism could be taught in schools alongside evolution.
Obviously she's a dangerous radical.
