Some amusement, for me at least

As those of us with the digestions to watch it know, NBC news has been overshadowed by the MSNBC of Keith Olbermann, whose Obamolatry would make Miss Lewinski blush. There was some huffing by some of the less obviously ideologically tainted people at NBC that the news, which they fancy is respected, ought not be hijacked by Mr. Olberman and his fanciful ideas. But his ratings are enough with the religious left, and his message evidently agreeable enough, that Mr. Olberman continues without hindrance.
Until today, when I learned that NBC is cutting a half a billion dollars from its budget.
Microsoft is advertising...Windows. Two years ago that would have been like advertising municipal water. First, with bait-and-switch. The man on the street is asked to look at something and when he's told it's Vista, he does that wonderful, man-on-the-street surprised look that--hey!--it's not as awful as he thought it would be. Lame, and sad. Or was until the next one when I lost patience.
The second commercial uses, first rattle out of the box, the PC guy in the Apple commercials. There follows a list of people who use Windows, and one of them says his office is in the outdoors. He's a graffiti "artist" and is posing in front of a building that he defaced. The Site Admin. complained that when he switched out a hard drive he had to call Macroshaft to authorize Windows to work. Is there a special Windows for vandals? And Gates has the nerve to fret about theft?
I'm reading a book so exiguous that it could be evanescent and it's made out of the small reading room only to be copied from for this. It's one by Timothy James Beck. A character suggested that Spanish Harlem, with its urban blight, might not be the place to raise children. The protagonist suspected that her family were Republicans and that's when I nearly threw it away. But he redeemed himself with this description of a trip to the theater:
...but I agreed with him about the gloomy musical I'd just squirmed through. Asphalt and Battery was the story of Edward J. de Smedt, a Belgian immigrant who invented asphalt. Among the places it was first used was Battery Park, and according to the show's Playbill, Edward's ghost felt guilty about his role in the "proliferation of automobiles, urbanization, pollution, and global warming." Most of Martin's time onstage had involved a dance in which he unrolled bolts of black fabric until it covered the floor, the backdrops, and the props, before he finally smothered all the actors with it. The last had gotten the most enthusiastic applause of the night."
Irony in a liberal? Well, Ed Koch called himself a liberal with sanity. There may be two of them.

A person eencssarily assist to make seriously posts I would state. This is the very first time I frequented your website page and thus far? I surprised with the analysis you made to make this particular post incredible. Fantastic process!

“Sheâs the right-wing idiot cheerleader and an embarrassment to this country. Thatâs why the left doesnât like her.”Jeez, talk about “rah rah speeches”Look, my friend. The left is in fact “partially” the reason Palin choose the path she took. She saw a party in trouble and brought it to the formidable force it was handing you guys asses to you in pieces.Shes a marketing genius who knew exactlly where to place herself in politics and how effective she’d be for the betterment of the country.Almost everyone she stumped for was elected into office by using rhetoric like yours against your party and reminding America what the path was we were supposed to be on.Eveything you morons tossed at her she took it and used it against you to the point all you had left was personal attacks stemming from her kids to taking sound bites totally out of context to accusing her of murder. (that was really fckin dumb)She hit the trail using the lefts own hatred against them as an example of exactly what we dont need anymore of.You lost your asses and Palin was hugely responsible for that.Period.Now y’all just hate her even more.Which is a good thing. Because she’ll continue to turn your sht into ice cream

Think the name is a shot at FOX? Wonder if there will be any legal claims there. Just took a minute to look at his site. What an arrogant piece of work. And the post. Oh Keith we love you, you were missed,” etc. Please I wish people would actually take time and research before they jump on the band wagon about anything. Loved the bit on FOX last week. Protesters were outside and the producer went out to speak to them. Why are you protesting? All Fox does is lieWhat do they lie about?all they do is lieWhat specifically are you talking about?FOX news does nothing but lieJust as bad as a discussion I had with some one I work with. – Walker ought to be ran out of office. All he is doing is trying to destroy the unions.I asked “how is he destroying the unions?”The answer – He just wants to destroy the unions so they do not donate money to the Democrats.I asked “Why do you think that?” – The answer – That’s what I heard on the news.I can and will discuss anything with anyone as long as it remains a discussion. Start arguing and it is over. What I hate is when they do not have an opinion of their own. If all you can do is parrot some one else, then, it is my belief, that you do not have an opinion of your own.Just MHO

its not that deep a process when weighing experience. We have plenty in office who never engaged in politics only previously worked the private sector, Romney etc, and are more than qualified in applicable experiences. Its the experiences of someone like Olberman that no doubt would work against him at the polls.Bottom line is this.Only a freaking idiot would try to put Olbermans experiences in public service up against those mentioned above and think they look like they’ve got half a brain. Its his brand that the mainstream left is trying so hard to distance itself from right now.Which, actually is kinda moot and a bunch of sht.The rhetoric on the hill and in the media had nothing to do with Loughners rampage yet we see the left using it as a means to control speech, call for civilty, change the tone, bla bla bla.But since they did call for this sublime bullsht I hardly see how Olberman could represent that sentiment. But hey, even after Air America took a sht they still elected Franken.Go figure

Olbermann is the ultimate MSM tool. He has the same immature political mentality and lack of reality-awareness I had as a 19-year-old Clinton supporter. Only I think I was more adult then than he is now.
Who knew that, some 15 years later, being a complete douche would actually be a requirement for consideration as the face of a cable network.
Signs and wonders.
