WWBB (What will Barry ban?)
Eleven days away from election day and though things will tighten it could go either way. If Obama wins then the Dems will control the White House, the Senate, and the Congress.
The Heller case and The One's previous "acknowledgements" about an individual right to own a gun notwithstanding, an Obama administration will move to infringe on the rights of gun owners as soon as possible.
Plus, if the Obamessiah wins on November 4 then on November 5 I will be bitter. And clingy.
Naturally, I will want to alleviate my clingyness and do so in a way that will make a lib somewhere shudder a bit even if he doesn't know why.
I will add a gun to my collection.
And If I am going to do this I may as well get something that is sure to be on the Obama Banned Guns List.
So, a bit of a bleg: What should I get? Or "What Will Barry Ban?"

You could give your mother a gun for her birthday...and shooting lessons!

Glock 20 is a dandy 10 mm and a 15 round clip (and comes with two of those)plus reloading aid .
For those unfamiliar , the 10 mm is about the size of a 45 caliber round.
Three years ago I almost purchased an Israeli Arms 50 caliber mag for putting down the steel rams at the range . This was a dream pistol for me as you could change out the barrel to 44 magnum and be ready to shoot right then..plus for home protection imagine yourself a burglar caught in the act and staring at this cannon with a half inch in diameter barrel hole pointed at you .
At the time the weapon was only $1,200 BUT a box of 20 50 cal rounds sold for $20.00 plus tax ! So by the time I got it broken in I would be penniless ! So I passed .
If you've got the cash Wals and some reloading skill ,this baby may be just up your alley .
Just remember to get lots and lots of ammo because I feel large caliber ammunition will be the first things to slowly disappear .(Just like banana clips in the '90s)

I think I am actually good as far as handguns. Although, I think handguns will be first on Barry's Ban List. I was thinking more along the line of an AR-15 of some flavor.
Any recommendations in that area?
I was at Between the Walls (a local gunmonger) yesterday and saw a couple of AK's purchased and I couldn't help but think it was a speculative purchase.

If you're serious Wals , contact me at my address which you have access to and I'll put you in touch with my nephew , who tricks out these weapons for police and sheriff's departments in the state .
Do NOT expect a fully automatic weapon ! He will not do that AND will turn you in .
But if you're looking for a finely crafted custom job , he's the man for you .

if you want a fully-automatic weapon you can try to buy one (illegally, according to the unconstitutional National Firearms Act of 1934) from your average, ordinary criminal. Or you can do the (again, according to the unconstitutional National FIrearms Act of 1934) get a letter from the chief of police/county sheriff that you are a person of "good character", submit to a criminal-type mug shot, get your fingerprints taken, and pay a $200 (or more) "transfer tax" on top of the artificially-inflated (by said National FIrearms Act and unconstitutional "Machine-gun Freeze law passed under Clinton) price of from $6500 to $100,000.00 dollars.

One of the most frequently tried bans is anything that holds multiple rounds of ammunition. So it definately needs a clip.
