More on the Presidential Woobie
And by "woobie", I mean the security blanket that is his teleprompter.
I watched the President again on the television this morning and he must have been using his "woobie" again.
Up to now I have just watched him speak and have never really noticed anything.....until this morning.
He. Never. Looks. Straight. Ahead.
Giving his most earnest look he turns from side to side...and to the exact angle offset each time. Even though the bulk of the listeners in the room with him are sitting directly in front of him.
Never. Straight. Ahead.
And once you do notice it, it is all you see.

Its like 0banga is watching a tennis match
There has been a lot of talk about how the "woobie"makes him very difficult to photograph either because the "glass" is in the way or he is looking side to side. At the last press conference he did look straight ahead, at the giant "big screen tele-prompter" in the back of the room. All his "technology" can be distracting from the message, which could be a good or bad thing, I dunno.
I was at the YMCA one day on the treadmill and one TV had CNN on the other Fox News covering Obama at some event. One must have been delayed 15 seconds or so, and every time CNN Obama looked left, Fox Obama looked right and vice versa. It was comical. But you are absolutely right, never to the center.
