Tea parties
No doubt you, like me, have had emails from people suggesting that you send a tea bag to the White House and to Congress. I dismissed it as I dismiss nearly all web forwards.
It seems that there are people who are doing more than that: they're actually having tea parties. In places like Cincinnati, Nebraska, Tampa, Lexington, Ridgefield, Conn., Raleigh, Orlando, Washington D.C., Staten Island, Pasadena, Boston, Rochester, N.Y., Jacksonville, Minnesota, Cleveland, Columbus, Mo., Little Rock, Ark., Philadelphia, Kansas City, Harrisburg, Green Bay, Salt Lake City, Fullertown, Lafayette, Boise, Monterey, Maui, Yonkers, Utah, Tucson, Phoenix, Hoboken and Chicago.
I read that Fox News, and in a bit of a shocker, CNN, covered them, but otherwise there's been silence.
I recall during the Bush Terror that every time some coven of witches thought that their stump water had gone (more) brackish, there was a demonstration which all the media gleefully covered. I suppose that since Obama is in the White House all opposition will be ignored as not being worthy of notice.
Here's a picture of the demonstration in Cincinnati.
