Obama's Hope and Change!

UPDATE: Graphic added for the benefit of commenter "Bipolar Stu" who is demonstrably unable to process either text, numbers or tables. Let us see if pictures help.

The national debt is expected to pass the one trillion dollar mark for the first time ever and some expect it get to two trillion sooner rather than later.

Turns out that Hope and Change was really only Tax and Spend on Crack.

And this is before his intended nationalization (read rationing) of the health care industry and the Cap and Trade lunacy.

Truly, if President Obama were actually trying to wreck the economy what would he be doing differently?

C'mon, Obamatons, admit it. You have actually begun to cringe a bit whenever you see the old Hope and Change literature from last year's campaign.

Probably starting an unwinnable war in a spot we don't need to be in with a coutry that is none of our business.....whoops that was CHeney/Bush.

What is the final cost for this fiasco and how much of it was over paid and to private no-bid contracts.

Stupid Republicans!

Stu:

That's it? That's all he would be doing differently?

You really have zero idea what all of the numbers are do you? What the deficit was a year ago? What it is projected to be this year? And next?

None, huh?

But you just typed away nonetheless, didn't you?

Is the Stu at the other pole any more informed than this one or is it just nicer?

Stu is tax consuming Gimmecrat, no doubt about it.

Love the graphic, especially the drop in revenue. Does Going Galt ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks, Walsingham!

If Our President were actually trying to wreck the economy (to gain government control of it) AND trying to diminish the stature of the United States around the world AND inhibit the spread of democracy, he could do very little more than he is now.

You guys are easier to stir than a pitcher of Kool-aid!! Not the sharpest tools in the shed, but still tools!

Looks like 0bama spent more on defense than Bush Did.

SHOCKA! Stu arrives and departs once more with no numbers.

otim: If that is indeed the case then it is probably also true that there is no area of spending where Obama did not manage to outspend Bush. You know, George W. Bush.....the guy that the Dems were telling us was mortgaging our children's future when he was borrowing and spending at a rate four to five times LESS than He Who Is The Current President.

Obama's problem is not just crack-addled-like spending. It is his complete lack of comprehension that the rest of his agenda is going to suppress tax revenues even further.

Maybe Sharp-Tool-Stu can enlighten us with his explanation of how this is going to work.

Five bucks says he's got nuthin', though.

I will bravely answer for Stu while his children explain the problem to him via sock puppets (I believe the expect to conclude the discussion by week's end).

Answer: We all work harder, longer, earn less (after taxes) and pray mightily to the Great God of Compound Interest in the Sky that someday we can pay this off and still be able to retire to a semi-comfortable life with a couple of good years ahead of us that don't include visiting hours. Now as for our kids, well... they're screwed.

That's best case scenario.
