Queen Michelle
In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much. See, that's why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service. This from the mouth of Michelle Obama, who, you'll recall, said that the nomination of her husband as the Democrat presidential candidate made her proud of America for the first time. This is the woman who complained that the people at Princeton said she didn't have the grades to get in, and she complained in Princeton. The woman is the poster child for resentment in America.

Er, sure. You bet. No doubt that Michelle was slaving hard in the trenches of public service. In 2002 Michelle Obama was hired by the University of Chicago Hospital as its executive director for community affairs. That's a nebulous job title if I ever heard one. Once in college I was the beneficiary of a make-work job given me by two professors who liked me, and because I didn't qualify for financial aid they thought that $3 an hour, up to $30 a week, for little work would be nice.
I don't know if Michelle's first job at the hospital was a make-work job, but it did pay $120,000.00 a year.
In January of 2005, her husband, Barack Hussein Obama, was sworn in as United States Senator. And, mirabile dictu, Michelle's salary jumped to $316,962! Oh, she became the Vice President for Community and External Affairs. It was a new position, sort of like my $3 an hour job at college. If I'd been married to a Senator, would I have gotten $10 an hour?
A year later, Senator Obama requested a million-dollar earmark for a new hospital pavilion.
When Barack Hussein Obama was inaugurated, Michelle resigned her patronage position, which was now paying $316,962 a year, and once she resigned, that job ceased to exist. Public service indeed. Only if she defines herself as the public.
Which she may well do. Laura Bush had one assistant, and even Hillary Clinton had only three. But Michelle Obama, fresh from her $317,000 job in "public service," needs twenty-two of them. Notice some of the jobs on the bottom rung: they don't report to Michelle: they report to Michelle's assistants. Assistants which didn't exist under Laura Bush.

The total cost for this First Lady's massive ego and sense of entitlement is $1,600,700 a year.

I was looking for one thing and didn't find it--the keeper of Michelle's sparkly-toed $540.00 Lanvin sneakers when they've been soiled at a food bank. Where she was pretending to work.
I hereby nominate Michelle Obama as the most intolerable woman in this government. Today. Every day there's something new to make me cast up my accounts.

I will say that the GOP needs to pay that kid in Africa a little something for the comedy he provided when he aske Hildebeast what her husband thought about an issue. Her true colors came out in response to that one.

Boomhower, you're utterly right. The Hildebeest is much worse. Queen Michelle is merely insufferably suiplenitudinous (my own precious coinage for being very full of herself).
As far as potential damage goes, hands down it's the Hildebeest. And as far as corruption--the Hildebeest is first past the post. As far as being the woman who, over the long run, makes me grit my teeth the most, yes, again, the Hildebeest by two lengths.
But when I saw the staff that Queen Michelle had accumulated around herself, and when I remembered how much her shopping trip in London had cost, I saw red.
But in the early morning light, it is, as you say, the Hildebeest. Win, place and show.

Let's not move too fast on the "win, place, and show" just yet.
Lest we forget that Boxer, Feinstein, and Pelosi are in this race.
As far as "teeth gritting" goes, I think Babs Boxer wins it hands down. When she dressed down the General during that hearing I wanted to jump through the TV and punch her in the ovaries.

Tip top stuff. I'll expcet more now.

Theo, yet again, I am going to (kind of) disagree with you. You bring up extremely good points on all accounts. However, Hildebeast still has my #1 ranking as the most insufferable woman in this government (planet?)
All of your points are very valid, but think about Hillary's past of corruption, mean spirited-ness, and downright bitch-itude. Now, with that past in mind, she was still able to get elected to the Senate, and appointed one of the most important cabinet seats in the government. She is able to do incredible damage to America by screwing things up overseas. Michelle can screw things up within the Washington circles, but her job as First Lady doesn't quite hold the weight of Hildebeast's.
Great post overall and it's easy for me to pick apart the little things without any real original thought of my own. I just take a small issue with the last paragraph.
