A Marine speaks his mind
A lovely case of a Marine telling off one of our wannabe masters, Representative Brian Baird. From what I can tell he, unlike many politicians and nearly all Democrats, can sometimes be moved by facts. There are other politicians who deserve this barracking more, but still. He's a politician, and he's a Democrat.
I only wish the video were better so that I could watch the torment in his face.
I have never held politicians in very high esteem for I've always recognized that there is something second-hand about getting power over people through a ballot box. They need a plebiscite to be real people, which is sad. My biggest complaint about Washington now is that I am utterly and completely cynical about government. Italian politicians don't even bother to make promises for they know that they won't be believed. Is this a good thing?
This lot is so nakedly power mad, corrupt and irresponsible that whenever I see U. S. Capitol I no longer think of the time that I've spent there, surrounded by the ghosts of people who changed the world for the better. I think of Nancy Pelosi and others, snort and move on.

hmmm, your association is so silly that it refutes itself.
But since I am in a jovial mood I'll help a bit. How is what the Marine against "moving forward"? Is "moving forward" a good thing? Does the Marine have no rights? Does "moving forward" mean surrendering control of your destiny and of your family's destiny? Why do you not accord the Marine his own autonomy? Do you hate autonomy?
This is the same sort of silly mind set which gloms onto Hope and Change without knowing what it means. The sort of person who takes what's behind Door Three just because he likes Montie Hall.
This is the same sort of hysteria which shrieks, "We have to do something!" to a supposed crisis, while refusing to consider if the cure is worse than the illness, if there even is an illness. Chicken Little is the patron saint of the left.
Your link to a bunch of racist crackers is just plain nasty, which is all that I expect. Tell me, please. Is the left so mean because is cannot make an argument?
I defy you to tell me why anyone would think that anything in that video was called or labeled communistic.
Unless you just outed yourself.
funny how some things never change.... like equating anything moving our society forward to communism.
