Obowma, while in Japan, gave an interview to, of course, CNN, in which he mused that if he'd done what he wanted, gave it his best shot, he might not run again.
LBJ didn't run again after the polls showed that he'd lose.





You must have a stronger stomach than I to sit down and watch the entire speech, or you took a very strong anti-emetic.
Symbolisim over substance. West Point was USED as a backdrop. Just as well delivered his speech from the White House. Would have save a few bucks on the National Debt.
Hmmmmm. Out by mid 2011? Why not 2012? I don't have to wonder what the underlying meaning of his speech. Has nothing to do with victory on the battlefield and all to do with his re-election in 2012.
