Anti-Islamic Activity
About two years ago, I find, Jacqui Smith, the British Home Secretary, said that the British government would no longer talk about Islamic terrorism. Instead they would call it "anti-Islamic activity." It seems that they are believing the rubbish that some Muslims have said, that Islam does not countenance terror and murder, and therefore anyone who does it is not Islamic, but merely a cold-blooded killer, acting without any religious purpose.
I have not heard any of them saying, "Dahmeru Akbar!" as they blow themselves up. They instead say their prayers, shave their bodies, pray some more, and shout, "Allahu Akbar!" as they blow themselves, and as many infidels as possible, up.
But since Muslims have assured the British Home Secretary that it's not Islamic--even though it's obvious that these murders are being done in the name of Islam and despite the fact that the Koran specifically requires Muslims to convert people with the sword as necessary--the Home Secretary chooses to believe that it is not Islamic terrorism.
President Obowma has decided that the global war on terror is no longer to be called such: it is "global contingency operations." Notice how this removes the very idea that there are malefactors in the world, that there are people who want to kill us for religious reasons and that they are organized. Contingencies are what we buy insurance for. Tornadoes don't want to take off the roof of our house; they merely do and that's why we buy insurance. Islamists on the other hand do want to kill us and it is entirely fitting to carry out a war on them, to keep them from it. But calling a suicide bombing a contingency is a good first step to America doing what the Brits have done, which is to deny that there are religious fanatics who want to kill us. It's a good second and third step too.
Acknowledging that we are in a fight to the death with people who want to kill us would mean having a real purpose and the government being held accountable for its actions. You'll never find a Democrat anxious to be accountable for his actions; that's completely un-Democrat. Responsibility is someone else's, er, responsibility. Calling it the war on terror would mean that the government would have to be seen to be trying to do something to stop it, which would require dedication and competence, and not just posturing. As it is, calling an act of war a contingency reduces the demands made on the government and eliminates their need to be accountable. It replaces accountable generals with insurance adjusters.
I have maintained for years that the left's idea of freedom is freedom from consequences. This is of a part with their desire for single-payer health insurance, quotas, opposition to tort reform, and "affirmative action."

Have you ever heard of a Christian or Jewish suicide bomber?
No Theo , I have not . But I believe both religions believe suicide is actually an affront to God..who gave one the gift of life. Islam has no problem with killing ones self for Allah .
As for Christian and Jewish terrorists ..well..wasn't too long ago the Jews decided to go after the native arabs in order to build their nation...and let's not forget the IRA in Ireland ...
But today , worldwide , it is the Muslims .

Until the governments of the civilized world man-up and call a spade a spade and admit WHERE the terrorism is comming from it will continue like a fast cancer and consume this planet , and we'll end up in a world not to different than George Orwell's 1984 !( But without the technology , like indoor toilets and hot water. )
I don't mean to criticize rsahhly, but here goes. You come across as being paranoid. Rightly so. You seem to have lost faith in G-D, who is all powerful. G-D should be trusted. Moral judgment should be made. It is man's responsibility to judge one another equitably. The strong hand of the lord is the one person or the nation that picks themselves up and does his bidding. The reason I think your weak is the same reason that those animals think that our nation (our kind) is weak. They know that G-d wields his hand THROUGH us. They know that WE have lost FAITH. This is G-d's way of returning us to him. He has done so age after age. We can almost put our fingers on it, but we still don't understand it. Yet we are stubborn and self righteous. We have not yielded to G-d. They have and they have accepted the oath of death. We have committed the sin of idolatry as a nation. Self esteem, self love = selfish and narcissistic. The problem with egotists and self lovers, is that no one is perfect and there is no satisfaction from loving oneself. There is no creation of being or of art or of ideas or of anything. No wonder everyone is on some sort of depression drug or another. If your told that there is nothing but one self, then there is nothing else and nothing else matters and with some people it goes as far as their own families and their own kids. Here is another thought. What if Islam is the only way, for the people who have this way of thinking, to not be DEPRESSED? Islam offers them something higher than themselves. Through this religion they find their own importance, because it a community of people that support their position. A whole armada of people that believe as you do that your life (the faithful Moslem) is the only righteous one and therefore you are above the infidels. It is a strong religion. The PC society has effectively castrated themselves, so they are weak. Islam is ripe for over throwing G-D for Allah. But they don't see yet that they are corrupted and maybe even more so than us westerners. To see this, all you have to do is go to Monaco for a short visit. Go to the playgrounds for the Saudi's and you will see. They are the rapists of their own religion. They people don't know this yet. They will Secrets are only there for so long. But the sheiks tell their people that they were give this status by Allah, because they were born in to it. The people believe this is the way that g-d ordained it. They need their eyes opened, but the west won't do it yet. They need to use strong weapons. Their stomachs are too weak yet. Islam is going to attack from with in. Weapons will be useless. Majority rules. Islam demands faithfulness. So, they take their woman and have them multiply here for 2 or 3 generations. They have 10-15 kids at a time. The number become very large when you start raising the numbers to exponentials and not just multiplying them. Their generations begin at age 12 for girls. One of their generations is of ours. They do this on purpose and they are smart to use our own system of generosity against us. They see that we are far removed from g-d and won't recognize evil even if it is exterminating our brethren. They take their moves (like a dance) from Hitler, but their aims are different and even more ominous. Maybe I should wait and not post this. Hmm.
