It's always wonderful when the totalitarian mask slips and gives the world an unrestricted view of what lot of us have known about the left for decades. They're not for "the little people"; they're for complete, grinding control of everything and they become hysterical when you challenge one of their articles of faith.

And so it it now. This time it's one of the most self-righteous left-wing organizations with the bad press. It's Greenpeace and I find it very funny indeed.

Greenpeace has a blogger named Gene, who is undergoing some existentialist angst over the meltdown in the anthropogenic global-warming scam. To these True Believers, the leaked emails (the CRUtape Letters) are like having the Pope come across what had to be the bones of Christ or Achmed happening on a hadith which said, "Be nice to people and quit killing them."

If you're one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission, then hear this:

It was originally posted here but the tree huggers, led by Ananth, the International Programme [sic] Director, have taken it down, stating "It's very easy to misconstrue that line, take it out of context." (The article continues on to use that patented left-wing polemic lie that "We need to reclaim the language of democracy and tolerance." I hope, Ananth, that you meant "we" as in "Greenpeace" and not the regal or medical or royal: you're the sorry lot who threw away democracy and tolerance when it suited you.)

What a silly and shallow spin by a vain and entitled organization. How do you take the threat, "We know where you live. We know where you work. And we be many, but you be few" out of context? Glenn Beck is in hot water because he uses clips of these happy little totalitarians saying what they don't want to have been on record as having said.

ACORN broke into private property and threatened the families of bankers who didn't make loans to people with no prospect of repaying them. Blogger Gene threatened the same actions on the Greenpeace website. SEIU thugs are at all the Tea Parties. Andy Stern could give thuggery lessons to a thugs' college.

Anita Dunn, while White House Communications Director, openly admired Mao, the biggest mass murderer in history. The White House tried to say that she was quoted out of context.

Mike Malloy wishes death on "crazy right-wingers" or "psychotic Republicans" every single night that he's on. And there's no way to take that out of context either.

I have maintained for years that liberals (whom we are now calling, more accurately, progressives) always loved a strong man and always wound up with re-education camps or mental hospitals because their entire existence is defined by ignoring the will of the people. Progressives are profoundly anti-democratic. In their minds, they're enlightened people who are merely slowed down by the cumbersome baggage of a plebiscite, which to them was a mistake to begin with. The Democrat party is now run entirely by progressives, who glory in ruling against the will of the electorate. And one of their most successful costume parties was dressing up socialism as environmentalism. Fortunately their science is now in disrepair; the Germans no longer believe that climate change is very important; left-wing papers are denouncing it now, and Greenpeace bears its teeth, growls and threatens apostates or infidels.
