When Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as president of the United States over a year ago, he was the most powerful black man the world had ever seen. He was the most powerful person that the world had ever seen.

More than a year later Barack Obama has been complicit in, and in service to, economic policy so ruinous that the Chinese have warned us not to spend so much. Vladimir Putin has warned us against walking down the road to Marxism, telling us that government cannot solve every problem. Only a progressive or totalitarian, but I repeat myself, would still believe in government's unlimited power.

Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France, warned Obama of the dangers of appeasement. The president of France warning against appeasement? This is like Colonel Sanders warning against fried chicken.

Last the year a Mardi Gras in Germany had a float of Obama, flying like an angel, dragging Europe, tugging his robe, along with him. This year the same parade had this angel fallen to earth, upside down.

Then of course we see the elevating spectacle of Barack Hussein Obama bowing to the King of Saudia Arabia. This is the nation, you remember, which was the source of the great majority of the 9/11 murderers, and which has been financing schools of radical Islam, dedicated to killing the Great Satan.

Obama has recently defined the circumstances under which the United States would resort to using nuclear weapons, which is a great relief for nations which hate us. Now they know how far they can push. Watch for even more international sneering.

Obama has stated that we won't develop any more nuclear weapons. Surely even he doesn't think that his policy will occasion similar ones, from people who, again, hate us and want to kill us.

Obama's White House has denied that there is a Special Relationship between America and Britain; some might say that this is the most important international relationship, worldwide, in the last fifty years. Just to drive home this administration's contempt for our best ally, they repatriated the bust on Churchill, on loan, to the White House. Gordon Brown had to beg several times for an audience. While Obama's most constant visitor is Andy ("[W]e prefer to use the power of persuasion, but if that doesn't work we use the persuasion of power") Stern, the head of the SEIU and a 100% thug. No doubt he fits right in with other thugs like Rahm Emanuel. I bet that Domino's won't even go to the White House again.

I hear that the White House has two people devoted to harassing the sponsors on Glen Beck's program. Anything to silence dissent. For the eight years of George Bush, these same people told us that dissent is patriotic. Now they don't want it. Perhaps because in this case it is patriotic.

Now, just over a year since he took office, under his leadership, aided and abetted by the Democrat Party, Obama has crippled America with unsustainable debt, mocked our allies, bowed to our enemies, ruled against the wishes of the American people, strategically weakened us, economically weakened us, legally weakened us, and made us an object of derision world wide.

Now the most powerful person in the history of the world is George W. Bush.
