More polling delights
Rasmussen today reports that the percentage of people who cannot abide Obama is 24% bigger than the percentage of people who love him. This is the biggest deficit since I've been watching and I've been watching for a while.
Governor Brewer of Arizona has 60%; her Democrat rival 38%. And brother Mark has seen her interviewed on a national program and says that although she has good senses, she's an utter idiot.
Boxer is one point behind Fiorina in California; this isn't supposed to happen.
Harry Reid is even with his challenger. Also not supposed to happen.
Generic ballot: Republicans 48%, Democrats 36%. This matches the biggest lead that Republicans have ever had in this poll since it was started.
This morning I was listening to Fox News on the radio and someone talked about "Incoming Speaker John Boehner has said that he would repeal Obamacare or refuse to fund it." Now I admit that it's nice to anticipate but for God's sake don't let the Republicans think that it's going to be a walk because then someone will do something incredibly stupid and we'll have two more years of Pelosi et al.
Sure as hell the progressives will find some right-wing nutjob talking about burning school books which have a witch in them, and that will be boomed up until it seems as though the entire civil liberties of America are going to be burnt on a pile along with the book, and then the progressives would whip it up into a full-scale panic and chase the independents, on whom this election hangs.
For a graph showing how the Senate is trending Republican, see this.
Is no one else going to post here? Something to interlard my rubbish.
